Judge Mirsad Strika was born in 1958 in Klopče near Zenica. He graduated from Law School in Sarajevo, Zenica Department in 1981. He took his Bar Exam in 1984. From 5^th January 1982 he worked as in intern at the Military Court in Sarajevo, and he was appointed a judge in 1985.  Since then he was a judge at the Military Court Sarajevo and at the District Military Court in Zenica, and a Prosecutor at the District Military Prosecutor’s Office Sarajevo, Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office Sarajevo, Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office Sarajevo and at the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On 17^th December 2009, he was appointed a judge at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and took his office on the 15^th January 2010. During his career, Judge Mirsad Strika served as a member of the HJPC from November 2004 to November 2008, as well as a member of the Federation Election Commission from 1996 to 2001, etc.
