Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and School of Law, University of Sarajevo, Continue Implementation of Agreement on Cooperation

A group of 90 students of School of Law, University of Sarajevo, Friday visited the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The students were divided into groups to attend hearings held in the case of Boško Peulić et al. (S1 1 K 020248 16 Kri) before Section I for War Crimes, and the case of Anes Sadiković et al. (S1 2 K 024117 17 K) before Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption.

 

In June 2018, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the School of Law, University of Sarajevo, signed an Agreement on Scientific, Educational and Professional Cooperation. The Agreement covers several aspects of cooperation, namely 1. Lectures and Presentations, 2. Students, 3. Professional Gatherings and 4. Research. According to the Agreement, the Court and the School of Law have defined the first quarterly Calendar of Activities, which specified the steps to be taken for the development of a higher degree of cooperation between the two judicial and educational institutions

 

The objective of today’s visit was to enable the third-year students of the first cycle of studies, who attend classes in Law of Criminal Procedure II, to see the practical application of procedural law.

 

The Court and the School of Law will continue to carry out activities in line with the agreed plan, about which the public will be duly informed.
