Court of BiH representatives take part in two-day seminar on report drafting under Istanbul Convention

Under the auspices of the BiH Gender Equality Agency, the BiH Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees, a seminar was held on Mt. Jahorina on 6 and 7 November concerning the collection of information in the process of drafting a first national report on the implementation of the Istanbul Convention.

 

Irhad Bilić, legal advisor at the Office of the President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Head of the Public Information and Outreach Section; Danijela Novak, Head of the Court Management Section at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina; and Elvir Kadrić, Head of the Registry Office of Section III of the Court of BiH, took part at the seminar and gave their contribution to the operation of working groups and drafting conclusions.

 

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a responsible institution, supports the improvement of efficiency and transparency in violence prevention, and expresses its commitment to achieving gender equality progress in BiH, as one of the elements important for a sustainable development and security in a democratic society. The Court of BiH has been making efforts and attaches great significance to inter-institutional cooperation and contribution in meeting international obligations of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
