The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina was Tuesday host to a group of 15 students of the Law School of the International University in Sarajevo.

In the framework of their visit to the Court of BiH, the students had the opportunity to talk to representatives of the Legal Department, Witness Support Section and the Public Information and Outreach Section of the Court. The students showed great interest by asking specific questions, and also had the opportunity to watch a recording of a testimony given by a witness under protective measures in a case tried before Section I for War Crimes at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Group leader Dr. Ena Kazić-Çakar thanked the Court representatives for the well-organized visit and the useful information the students received, and stressed the major importance of the visit for the upgrade of students’ knowledge of the operation of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina illustrated by the examples from the case law.

Towards the end of the visit, the students were given Court’s information kit, and were encouraged to keep following the Court’s work via Court’s official website.
