On 11 July 2024 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina granted the Motion filed by the Prosecution in the case of Blagoje Milović et al. (S1 2 K 048544 24 Krn) and issued a Decision remanding the suspects Blagoje Milović and Ivica Bago. According to the Decision, their custody may last for a maximum of one month, i.e. from 8 July 2024 to 8 August 2024 or until the Court issues a new decision, on the grounds of grounded suspicion as the general requirement, and on specific custody grounds specified under Article 132(1), Subparagraphs a) and b), of the CPC BiH.

The foregoing individuals are suspected of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(1) CC BiH, in conjunction with the criminal offenses of Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210a(1) CC BiH, Smuggling under Article 214(1) CC BiH, Giving Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit under Article 218(1) CC BiH, Abuse of Office or Official Authority under Article 220(1) CC BiH, and Breach of Secrecy of Proceedings under Article 237(1) CC BiH.
