On 11 October 2016, the Court of BiH rendered a decision ordering custody for Saša Cvetković.

In the criminal case against the Accused Saša Cvetković, conducted for the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians in violation of Article 142 of the Criminal Code of the SFRY (CC SFRY), on 14 November 2017 the Court of B-H rendered a decision on joining the respective criminal proceedings against the Accused Saša Cvetković No. S1 1 K 023242 17 Kri and No. S1 1 K 026353 17 Kro into a single case that will be conducted under No. S1 1 K 023242 17 Kri and for which one Judgment will be rendered. The decision reads that, in the case at hand, separate proceedings were being conducted against one Accused for the same criminal offenses committed in the same time period and at the same locations in the Municipality of Srebrenica, and given the fact that in one of the referenced cases the evidentiary proceedings had just commenced, upon the motion of the Prosecutor's Office of B-H the Court decided that conducting joint proceedings and rendering a single judgment in the case at hand would contribute to the economy and efficiency of the proceedings and, at the same time, maintain all procedural guarantees and rights of the Accused. Having opted for such decision, the Court was also mindful of the consent of the Accused whose Defense Counsel fully agreed with the motion on joinder.
