On 13 December 2018, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment charging the accused Cvijan Tomanić with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)h), as read with Subparagraphs a), e) and k), and Article 180(1) and Article 29, of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On January 28 2019 at the arraignment in the case No. S1 1 K 031188 18 Kro, the accused Cvijan Tomanić pled not guilty of the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity in violation of Article 172(1)h), in connection with sub-paragraphs a), e) and k), and Article 180(1), as read with Article 29 of the CC BiH.
The main trial was initiated on 18 February 2019. The evidentiary proceeding is completed.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down and publicly announced, on 30 September 2021, the first instance judgment in the case of Cvijan Tomanić finding the accused Cvijan Tomanić guilty of commission of the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1) h) in connection with Subparagraphs a) and k) of the CC BiH, all as tread with Article 29 and Article 180(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Court sentenced the accused Cvijan Tomanić to imprisonment for a term of seven (7) years.
On 5 July 2022 the Court delivered an Appeals Judgment in the case of Cvijan Tomanić, dismissing as ill-founded the appeals filed by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by the accused Cvijan Tomanić, and by Cvijan Tomanić’s defense counsel - attorney Predrag Ješurić, while upholding the Trial Judgment of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina No. S1 1 K 031188 19 Kri dated 30 September 2021.
