The Indictment was confirmed on 6 May 2009. Jakov Duvnjak is charged with War Crimes against Civilians in violation of Article 173(1)(c) (killings) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH) in conjunction with Article 180(1) of CC BiH (individual criminal responsibility).
The Court issued a Decision in Case No. S1 1 K 002734 09 Kro (X-KRO/08/607) terminating the criminal proceedings in relation to the accused Jakov Duvnjak due to the Accused’s death. On the same day, the Court issued an Order withdrawing the Order of the Court of BiH, No. X-KR-08/607 of 21 May 2010, on the basis of which the arrest warrant against the accused Jakov Duvnjak was issued.
