The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed, on 8 September 2021, an indictment in the case of Dejan Ivaštanin and others charging the accused Dejan Ivaštanin that he committed the criminal offense of Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit under Article 217(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), and the accused Ermin Bičakčić the criminal offense of Giving Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit under 218(1) of the CC BiH .
Having held a hearing to deliberate on a statement admitting guilt and the
sentencing hearing in Case No. S1 2 K 041118 21 K the Court handed down a
Judgment finding the accused Dejan Ivaštanin guilty of the criminal offense of
Accepting Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit under Article 217(1) of the CC BiH,
and sentenced him to imprisonment for a term of six (6) months.
