According to the Indictment, the accused Dževad Avdičević, as Commander of the 1st Teočak “HM” Brigade, Muharem Efendić, as Commander of the 4th Kalesija Operations Group of the 2nd Corps of the Army of the Republic of BiH, Ahmed Hadžajlić, as Commander of the Teočak Forward Command Post 3 of the 2nd Corps of the Army of the Republic of BiH, and Izet Ikanović, as leader of the Military Police Platoon of the 1st Teočak “HM” Brigade of the Army of the Republic of BiH, during the war and armed conflict in BiH between military and police forces of the Republic of BiH and military and police forces of the Republika Srpska, in the territory of Teočak, Sapna, Zvornik and Ugljevik municipalities, in the period between April 1993 and July 1994, treated prisoners of war in violation of rules of international humanitarian law and in violation of the provisions of common article 3(1)(a) and (d) and Article 5 of the III Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War of 12 August 1949 and Article 45 of Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina /BiH/ confirmed Indictment of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in the case of Dževad Avdičević et al. on 5 January 2022, charging the accused with the following criminal offenses:
Dževad Avdičević – War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175(1)(a), (b) and (c) as read with Articles 180(1) and 29 of the Criminal Code /CC/ of BiH;
Ahmed Hadžajlić - War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175(1)(a) as read with Articles 180(1) and 29 of the CC BiH;
Muharem Efendić - War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175(1)(a) as read with Articles 180(1) and 29 of the CC BiH;
Izet Ikanović - War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175(1)(a) and (b) as read with Articles 180(1) and 29 of the CC BiH.
At the plea hearing held on 24 February 2022, the accused Dževad Avdičević, Ahmed Hadžajlić and Izet Okanović pled not guilty.
The main trial in this cae commenced on 07 Oktober 2022. Currently underway is the presentation of evidence by the Prosecutor.
