On 13 December 2019, the Court confirmed the Indictment in the case of Duško Suvara.
At the plea hearing held on 15 January 2020, the accused Duško Suvara pleaded not guilty.
The main trial in this case commenced on 18 September 2020.
On 27 May 2022 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered and publicly pronounced a Trial Judgment in the case of Duško Suvara, finding the accused Duško Suvara guilty of the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 142(1) of the Criminal Code of the Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia, under Count 1 – rape, and Count 2 – inhumane treatment and rape. The Court sentenced him to six (6) years of imprisonment.
