The factual substrate of the indictment:
According to the Indictment, in the period from May 1992 until the end of March 1993, as part of a widespread and systematic attack by the Army of the Serbian Republic of BiH directed against the non-Serb population of Bosanski Novi (currently Novi Grad) and its surrounding villages and neighborhoods, the accused, with knowledge of that attack and that their acts constituted part thereof, as members of the Military Police Platoon of the Light Novi Grad Brigade of the Army of the Serbian Republic of BiH, in a camp stationed at the Fire Station where they were guarding detained non-Serb civilians upon whom they inflicted great suffering, participated in the persecution of the non-Serb population on national, ethnic, cultural and religious grounds by way of murders, enforced disappearances of persons and other inhumane acts of a similar character committed with intent to cause great suffering.

On 4 March 2022, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina /BiH/ confirmed in part Indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in the case of Dragan Đurić et al. dated 3 March 2022, charging the accused with the following crimes:
- Dragan Đurić, Simo Ličina, Žarko Kalinić and Miro Bosančić – Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)(h) as read with sub-paragraphs a), (i) and (k) of the Criminal Code /CC/ of BiH, taken in conjunction with Article 180(1) and Article 29 of the CC BiH;
- Nedeljko Pilipović, Bogdan Grab, Žarko Grab and Jovan Grab - Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)(h) as read with sub-paragraphs (i) and (k) of the CC BiH, taken in conjunction with Article 180(1) and Article 29 of the CC BiH.
