The Court confirmed Indictment in the case of Miralem Hurić (S1 2 K 041316 22 Ko) on 7 March 2022, charging the accused Miralem Hurić with a continued criminal offense of Tax Evasion or Fraud under Article 210(1) of the CC BiH, as read with Article 54 of the CC BiH.

At the arraignment held in the case of Miralem Hurić (S1 2 K 041316 22 Ko) the accused pleaded not guilty under Indictment of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH dated 18 February 2022 to the criminal offense of Tax Evasion or Fraud under Article 210(1) of the CC BiH as read with Article 54 thereof.

Having held a hearing to entertain a plea agreement and a sentencing hearing in the case of Miralem Hurić (S1 2 K 041316 22 K), the Court delivered a Judgment on 13 may 2022, finding the accused Miralem Hurić guilty of a continued criminal offense of Tax Evasion or Fraud under Article 210(1) of the CC BiH as read with Article 54 thereof. The Court imposed a suspended sentence on the accused Miralem Hurić, fixing a punishment of imprisonment for a term of one (1) year and ordering at the same time that the sentence would not be carried out unless the Accused commits another crime over a period of two (2) years after the Judgment became final. As an accessory punishment, the Court imposed on the Accused a fine in the amount of 3,000.00 BAM, to be paid by the Accused within 30 (thirty) days after the Judgment became final. Pursuant to Articles 110 and 111 of the CC BiH, proceeds of crime in the amount of 28,707.94 BAM were confiscated from the accused Miralem Hurić and the Accused paid the said sum in full.
