According to the Indictment, during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the armed conflict between the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARBiH) and the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS), between the second half of May and mid-July 1995, in the territory of Bosanska Krupa municipality, during the attack launched by the ARBiH on VRS positions in the region of Kobiljnjak, Osmače and Ćojluka, municipality of Bosanska Krupa, the accused captured at least 25 VRS members, took them to and held them in a military detention, where they tortured them, from where on three occasions, in the summer of 1995, with the intent to kill them, members of the Military Police of the 511th Glorious Mountain Brigade of the ARBiH took them away and killed them on three sites in the territory of Bosanska Krupa municipality, in violation of the rules of international humanitarian law.

On 2 February 2023 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the consolidated Indictment issued on 26 January 2023, charging the accused Senad Bužimkić, Rizah Fajić, Almir Sefić, Ermin Kadić, Amir Patković, Irfo Velagić and Suad Nesimović with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the arraignment held on 14 March 2023 in the case of Senad Bužimkić et al. (S1 1 K 022343 22 Kro), the accused Amir Patković pled not guilty of the criminal offense charged against him under the confirmed indictment of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office – War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
