Dragan Vukajlović was born on 6 April 1987 in Sarajevo. He graduated from the Sarajevo University Law School in 2009, and completed his post-graduate studies at the Law School in Sarajevo on 24 May 2013 by defending his master’s thesis: “The European Court of Justice / Court of the European Union and the Right to Property”, by which he acquired the academic degree of Master of Laws. He passed his bar exam on 29 May 2012.

Between 2010 and 2012 he was a legal trainee at the Court of BiH, the District Court in Istočno (East) Sarajevo and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. By Decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) he was appointed as a legal officer at the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, after which he was appointed a judge at the Municipal Court in Sarajevo on 1 December 2017. By another Decision, the HJPC appointed him as a judge at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 7 September 2023.

His professional development has taken place through numerous forms of education, seminars, round tables, conferences, training courses, national as well as international. He has been a lecturer at various seminars and education sessions in criminal substantive and procedural law. He was a member of numerous working groups tasked with drafting new criminal laws or amending the existing ones. He is a regular criminal law trainer at the FBiH Center for Judicial and Prosecutorial Training.“
