Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to BiH, H.E. Mr. Werner Almhofer met today with the Registrar for the Court of BiH Mrs. Biljana Potparić – Lipa and signed an agreement between the Austrian Development Agency and the Registry, through which this Agency will participate in the funding of international judges in the Court of BiH.

This financial contribution, in the amount of EUR 300.000, will also be used to provide support to the work of international judges.

With this financial contribution, Austrian government continues to play an important role in the set up and strengthening of the State Judicial Institutions. To date, Austrian government has invested, through the Registry, around EUR 1.5 million into the Court of BiH and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
