Today, 11 April 2008. representatives of the District court Ljubljana visited the Court and the Office of Prosecutor of BiH. During the opening presentations by the representatives of Court Management and Legal Department our guests got an insight into the structure and work of the Court. After that, our guests attended the pronouncement of the first instance verdict in the Alić case, and later on, spoke to the representatives of Witness Support Section and Department of Security. Judges Ševko Šahbegović and Marjan Pogačnik had excellent presentations on differences in legal systems of these two countries and their work experiences in Section I and II of the Court of BiH. Legal advisor from Section I of the Office of the Prosecutor presented the structure and work of this institution. At the end of the program, our guests visited the premises of the Court of BiH.
Representatives of the District court Ljubljana were delighted by the presentations and the work of the Court and the Office of the Prosecutor of BiH. PIOS would like to use this opportunity to thank all speakers for their participation and excellent presentations, especially to judges Pogačnik and Šahbegović who, despite all their duties, found some time to meet our guests from Slovenia.
