Due to the high interest of defense lawyers for the Continuing Professional Trainings (CPT), OKO has organized two, 2 days interactive trainings on “Advanced advocacy” and one 1 day basic level training on “Skill of cross-examination”. The trainings took place in Sarajevo on 16th April, 17th & 18th April and 21st & 22nd April 2008.

The seminars were delivered by two trainers, experienced US criminal defense lawyers and certified advocacy lecturers:  Mr. James R. Gaily and Mr. Terrence MacCarthy. These highly practical trainings gave a unique opportunity to the local defense lawyers to test and improve their advocacy technique in direct and cross examination under close guidance of the highly recognized experts in this field.

 

OKO will continue its training support in this important aspect of defense practice.
