At a plea hearing before the Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Accused Arif Peleš entered a not guilty plea.

 

On 8 September 2014, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment under which the Accused Arif Peleš and Predrag Vrakelja are charged with the criminal offense of Organized Crime as read with the criminal offense Illegal Trafficking in Weapons and Military Equipment and Products of Dual Use and the Accused Arif Peleš also with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs. 

 

The Indictment alleges among other things that in the period from July 2013 to April 2014, the Accused acted as part of the international organized criminal group and committed the criminal offense of international trafficking in narcotic drugs of Heroine, Cocaine and Marijuana and international trafficking in weapons in the territories of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Austria and other countries.
