Husein Bosnić enters a not guilty plea

At a plea hearing before the Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Accused Husein Bosnić entered a not guilty plea.

 

On 29 December 2014, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment under which the Accused Husein Bosnić is charged with the criminal offence of Encouraging Terrorist Activities in Public in violation of Article 202a. as read with the criminal offense of Recruitment for Terrorist Activities in violation of Article 202b. and Organizing a Terrorist Group in violation of Article 202d.(2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC of BiH).

 

The Indictment alleges that the Accused Husein Bosnić during 2013 and 2014, as a member of the so-called Salafi community organized in Bosnia and Herzegovina outside the official institutions of Islamic community in BIH, in several towns in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina such as the community in Velika Kladuša and community in Gornja Maoča for the purpose of propagating and increasing Islamic radicalism in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a wider region, from the position of religious authority in the so-called Salafi community,  knowingly incited others to joint terrorist organizations. The Indictment further alleges that at the gatherings of the Salafi community members and also by way of social network YouTube, the Accused held and published speeches wherein he publicly sent messages inciting the Salafi community members to become members of ISIL organized terrorist group in the so-called Islamic State, and once they become the members of that group to take part in the activities organized by that terrorist organization.
