Igor Milutinović sentenced to one year in prison

Following the review and acceptance of the Guilty Plea Agreement, the Panel of the Section II for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down and pronounced on 23 February 2015 the Verdict under which the Accused Igor Milutinović is found guilty of the criminal offense of Organized Crime in violation of Article 250(2) as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs in violation of Article 195(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (the CC of BIH). To that regard, the Court pronounced a prison sentence for a term of one (1) year.

 

The Accused Igor Milutinović is found guilty because after Aleksandar Ivković agreed with a purchaser from Zagreb, the Republic of Croatia, to deliver him the narcotic drug Cannabis, on several occasions during December 2012 and January 2013 hired Igor Milutinović to transport the narcotic drug Cannabis from Bileća to Ljubuški and hand it over to Zoran Pilatić and persons he found upon Ivković’s order to transport and deliver the drugs to the purchaser in Zagreb in exchange for a reward.  

 

Pursuant to Article 56 of the CC of BIH, the time the Accused spent in custody shall be credited to the pronounced prison sentence.

 

Pursuant to Article 74 of the CC of BIH, the items used in perpetration of the criminal offense were seized from the Accused Milutinović.

Pursuant to Article 188(1) of the CPC of BIH, the Accused Milutinović is imposed the obligation to reimburse the costs of the criminal proceedings, the amount of which shall be determined in a separate Court's Decision and a lump sum of BAM 100.00 within 15 days when the Verdict becomes final and binding.
