The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will announce tomorrow, 29 September 2023, the first instance judgment in Savo Tepić and others at 09:00 hrs in courtroom 4.

The confirmed indictment of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office charged the accused  Savo Tepić, Duško Vujičić, Duško Maksimović and Ilija Kurušić with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The indictment, inter alia, alleges that, during the period between late May 1992 and the end of 1992, the accused Savo Tepić, as the chief of the Public Security Station in Kotor Varoš and a member of the Crisis Staff of the Kotor Varoš Municipality, subsequently of the War Presidency of the Kotor Varoš Municipality, Duško Vujičić, as an active police officer, Duško Maksimović, as a reserve police officer of the SJB Kotor Varoš and Ilija Kurušić, as a member of the Army of Republika Srpska, unit from Burča, and during the referenced period de facto serving within the SJB Kotor Varoš, participated in a widespread and systematic attack by persecution of the non-Serb population in the territory of Kotor Varoš municipality by murder, imprisonment and other severe deprivations of physical liberty, torture, enforced disappearance and other inhuman acts of similar nature committed with intent to inflict severe suffering or serious physical or mental harm to body or health.
