In the case of Bojan Cvijetić et al. on 21 June 2023 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina granted the Prosecutor’s Motion of 20 June 2023 and issued a Decision ordering custody of the suspects Haris Hodžić, Davorin Popović, Eldin Hažbić and Goran Stojisavljević, which under the Decision may last for a maximum of one month, running from the day of arrest, which means until 19 July 2023, or pending a new decision of the Court.

Custody was ordered on both general and particular custody grounds referred to in Article 132(1), Subparagraphs a), b) and c) CPC BiH, meaning a flight risk and a concern that they will destroy, conceal, alter, or forge the evidence and traces important for the criminal proceeding, interfere with the witnesses, accomplices and accessories, and repeat the criminal offense.

The foregoing individuals are suspected of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250, Paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), as read with the criminal offenses of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) CC BiH, Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210a CC BiH and Unauthorized Storage of Goods under Article 210b of the Code.
