Prohibitive measures imposed on the suspects in Blaženko Rašević et al.

On 13 September 2022, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina granted in part a motion by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina of 12 September 2022 in Case No. S1 2 K 041197 21 Krn (Blaženko Rašević et al.) and issued a Decision imposing the following prohibitive measures on the suspects Blaženko Rašević, Žarko Joknić, Vlatko Blažević and Srećko Mandić:

            Ban on leaving the place of residence under Article 126(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina /CPC BiH/ in relation to the suspects Blaženko Rašević, Žarko Joknić, Vlatko Blažević and Srećko Mandić;

 

  1. Mandatory reporting to a State body under Article 126a paragraph 1(d) of the CPC BiH in relation to the suspects Blaženko Rašević, Žarko Joknić and Vlatko Blažević;

 

  1. Travel ban under Article 126(2) of the CPC BiH in relation to the suspects Blaženko Rašević, Žarko Joknić and Vlatko Blažević;

 

  1. Ban on meeting with specified persons under Article 126a paragraph 1(c) of the CPC BiH in relation to the suspects Blaženko Rašević, Žarko Joknić, Vlatko Blažević and Srećko Mandić.

 

The suspects were warned that they may be ordered into pre-trial custody in the event of violation of any of the obligations imposed under the referenced decision.

 

The pre-trial custody that was ordered by a Decision dated 18 March 2022 (and continued under decisions dated, respectively, 14 April 2022 and 14 June 2022) has expired.

 

The aforementioned individuals are suspected of committing the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina /CC BiH/ as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) of the CC BiH.
