On 22 February 2020, the Court confirmed the Indictment in the case of Adis Abaz.
A plea hearing was held in the case of Adis Abaz on 7 February 2020, at which the Accused Adis Abaz pleaded not guilty. The Indictment charges him with the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(3) of the CC BiH, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) of the CC BiH, all as read with Article 54 of the CC BiH.
The main trial was initiated on 26 February 2020. The prosecution is currently presenting its evidence.

Following the completion of the main trial in the case of Adis Abaz, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down today, 21 February 2022, a judgment finding the accused Adis Abaz guilty of commission of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(3) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), in connection with the criminal offense of Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 195(1) of the CC BiH. The Court imposed on the accused a sentence of imprisonment for a term of 6 (six) years.
Panel of the Appellate Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina /BiH/ delivered a second-instance Judgment in the case of Adis Abaz (S1 2 K 032157 22 Kž2) on 12 May 2022, dismissing as ill-founded the appeals filed by, respectively, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, counsel for the accused Adis Abaz and the Accused himself and upholding the first-instance Judgment of the Court of BiH No. S1 2 K032157 20 K dated 21 February 2022.
