The factual substrate of the indictment:
The Indictment, inter alia, alleges that Edhem Godinjak, as the Head of the Trnovo Public Security Station, Medaris Šarić, as commander of the Trnovo Territorial Defense Headquarters, and Mirko Bunoza, as commander of HV – HOS units, willingly and knowingly participated in a joint criminal enterprise aiming at a multiple deprivation of lives of Serb civilians in villages of the Trnovo municipality, unlawful arrest and imprisonment in detention facilities set up in the territory of the Trnovo municipality, torching their property, and killing and inhumanely treating the captured members of the Republika Srpska army in the detention centers set up in the territory of the Trnovo municipality.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed on 16 June 2014 the Indictment under which the Accused: Edhem Godinjak, Medaris Šarić and Mirko Bunoza are charged with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians and War Crimes against Prisoners of War.
At the guilty plea hearing held on 24 July 2014 before Section I for War Crimes of the Court of BiH, the accused Edhem Godinjak, Medaris Šarić and Mirko Bunoza plead not guilty.
The main trial was initiated on 28 October 2014. The presentation of closing arguments has been completed.
