The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will pronounce a Trial Judgment in the case of Ramiz Dreković (S1 1 K 012247 18 Kri) on Wednesday, 17 May 2023, at 11:45 a.m., in Courtroom 6.
The Indictment charges the accused with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 142(1) of the Criminal Code of the Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia.
According to the Indictment, during the state of war and armed conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina between the Army of RBiH and the Army of Republika Srpska, as the ARBiH 4th Corps Commander, the accused Ramiz Dreković acted in violation of the rules of international humanitarian law by ordering, over a period between 21 May 1995 and 7 June 1995, an attack on the majority Serb population of Kalinovik and an indiscriminate shelling of the populated area of Kalinovik.
