On 25 December 2024 the Court confirmed an Indictment in the case of Began Muhić (S1 2 K 047148 24 Ko), charging the accused Began Muhić with the criminal offense of Fraud in Office under Article 222(3), as read with Paragraph 1 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with Article 54 of the Code.

The accused is charged that, between 6 January 2019 and 31 March 2023, as an official person in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, performing the duties of a General Consul of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Germany, with the aim to acquire ill-gotten gain for himself, he provided false data on his attendance at work and regular performance of his duties, and by submitting and approving false calculations on regular attendance he misled the persons authorized to make payments, so that, by way of the illegal payment of salaries, other remunerations and per diems, he acquired ill-gotten gain in the total amount of 56,062 BAM
