On 9 January 2025 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed an Indictment in the case of Radomir Marić (S1 1 K 050678 24 Kro), charging the accused Radomir Marić with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 142(1) as read with Article 22 CC SFRY.

According to the Indictment, in his capacity as a member of the Special Platoon of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUPRS) – Sokolac, together with multiple persons, he knowingly and willingly took part in the killing of Bosniak civilians in the manner that on 24/25 September 1992 he took part in the realization of a previous agreement on the abduction and killing of Bosniak civilians, a total of twenty-two of them, from the suburb of Bukreš, Municipality of Bijeljina, at a site by the Drina River where the civilians were killed, after which their bodies were thrown into the river, four of which have yet to be found.
