On 18 October 2024 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered a Trial Judgment in the case of Sanel Ibrahimović et al. ( S1 2 K 044830 23 K) finding the accused Sanel Ibrahimović guilty of, and the legal entity “ALUPRODUKT MUNK” d.o.o. Ilidža responsible for, the criminal offense of Tax Evasion under Article 210(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), and the legal entity also in conjunction with Article 124c) CC BiH.

The Court imposed on the accused Sanel Ibrahimović a suspended sentence of six (6) months of imprisonment, which shall not be executed unless the accused commits another criminal offense within 2 (two) years of the day when the Judgment becomes final.

The ill-gotten gain in the amount of 33,921.84 BAM shall be confiscated from the legal entity “ALUPRODUKT MUNK“ d.o.o. Ilidža, which they shall pay towards the BiH budget.

The accused Sanel Ibrahimović was found guilty that during the business year of 2022, in his capacity as the responsible person at the legal entity “ALUPRODUKT MUNK“ d.o.o. Ilidža, with the intent to reduce the obligation to pay indirect taxes prescribed by the tax legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the month of May 2022, he submitted a monthly VAT return with false content, by providing false data on his taxable income, and failed to calculate, report and pay the output tax in the total amount of 33,921.84 BAM, for which he damaged the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The accused legal entity “ALUPRODUKT MUNK“ d.o.o. Ilidža has been found responsible for having disposed of the ill-gotten gain in the amount of 33,921.84 BAM which was obtained by the accused Sanel Ibrahimović in the name and to the benefit of the company.
