The Appellate Panel of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed down, on 29 April 2022, a second instance judgment in the case of Husejin Selman and others dismissing the appeal filed from the first instance judgment, and upholding the first instance judgment of 19 January 2022.

The first instance judgment of 19 January 2022 acquitted the accused Husejin Selman of the charges that he committed the criminal offense of Tax Evasion or Fraud under Article 210(4) in connection with Paragraph 1 and Article 54 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC  BiH), and dismissed the charges against the accused legal entity Opća Zadruga “E – Ekonomija” P.O. Kiseljak that it committed the criminal offense of Tax Evasion or Fraud under Article 210(4) in connection with Paragraph 1, as read with Article 54 and Article 124 of the CC BiH.
