Panel of the Appellate Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina /BiH/ delivered a second-instance Judgment in the case of Sena Hamzabegović (S1 2 K 040400 22 Kž 5) on 25 May 2022, dismissing as ill-founded the appeal filed by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and upholding the first-instance Judgment of the Court of BiH No. S1 2 K 040400 21 K dated 17 January 2022.

Under the first-instance Judgment of the Court of BiH No. S1 2 K 040400 21 K dated 17 January 2022, pursuant to Article 284(1)(c) of the Criminal Procedure Code of BiH, the accused Sena Hamzabegović was acquitted of the charge that she, by the actions described in the enacting clause of the judgment, committed the criminal offense of Funding of Terrorist Activities under Article 202 paragraph 2(b) as read with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH. The Accused was acquitted of the charge because it was not proved that she had committed the criminal offense charged.
