On 6 August 2021 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered a judgment in the case of Sumedin Topčagić et al. acquitting the accused Almir Mrkonjić of the charges that by the acts described in the description of the introductory section of the Indictment and under Count 1 of the Indictment he committed the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH) as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) CC BiH. Pursuant to Article 74 of the BiH Criminal Procedure Code (CPC BiH), the Court has ordered that the objects seized from the accused Almir Mrkonjić be returned to him.

The accused Sumedin Topčagić has been found guilty that in the manner described in the introductory part and Section 2 of the Conviction he committed the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(2) CC BiH, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) CC BiH. The accused Admir Mahmutagić has been found guilty that in the manner described in the introductory section and Sections 1 and 2 of the Conviction he committed the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(2) CC BiH, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) CC BiH. The accused Deni Stanišić has been found guilty that in the manner described in the introductory section and Sections 1 and 2 of the Conviction he committed the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(2) CC BiH, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) CC BiH.

The Court sentenced the accused Sumedin Topčagić to 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment, while the time the accused spent in pre-trial custody from 15 November 2018 to 26 February 2019 shall be credited towards his sentence of imprisonment. The Court sentenced the accused Admir Mahmutagić to 2 years of imprisonment, while the time the accused spent in pre-trial custody from 19 November 2018 to 26 February 2019 shall be credited towards his sentence of imprisonment. The Court sentenced the accused Deni Stanišić to 3 years of imprisonment.

The Court imposed on the accused Sumedin Topčagić, Admir Mahmutović and Deni Stanišić the protective measure of seizure of instrumentalities, while the Court granted a redress claim in relation to the injured party Š.L..

The Court also issued a decision terminating the prohibitive measures of a travel ban and the prohibition of meeting with certain persons imposed on the accused Almir Mrkonjić under the decision of the Court of BiH of 26 February 2019, and ordered that the passports seized from the accused Almir Mrkonjić be returned to the accused, and the prohibitive measure of ban on the issuance of travel documents and prohibition from using an ID for the state border crossing be terminated.

The Court also terminated the measure prohibiting the accused Sumedin Topčagić and Admir Mahmutagić from meeting with certain persons imposed on the accused under the decision of the Court of BiH of 26 February 2019. The prohibitive measure of travel ban under Article 126(2) of the CPC BiH imposed on the accused Sumedin Topčagić and Admir Mahmutagić, imposed on them under the decision of the Court of BiH of 26 February 2019, was extended.
