The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will Tuesday, 6 December 2022, deliver a Trial Judgment in the case of Hazim Fazlović (S1 1 K 019412 20 Kri). Judgment pronouncement has been scheduled for 1 p.m. in Courtroom 4.

The accused Hazim Fazlović is charged with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175 CC BiH, based on command responsibility, in the manner that, by discharging his duties as Commander of the 3^rd Battalion of the 108^th Motorized Brigade of the Army of BiH, he had reason to know that on 8 March 1993 members of the Intervention Unit from within the 3^rd Battalion of the 108^th Motorized Brigade of the Army of BiH, during combat activities in the region of Boderište, which was part of the 108^th HVO Infantry Brigade zone of responsibility, captured 11 (eleven) VRS soldiers, mistreated and ultimately killed them, since he knew that the given unit was re-subordinated to the 108^th HVO Infantry Brigade for the purpose of carrying out combat activities, and was himself inside the war theater, but failed to take all necessary and reasonable measures to have the perpetrators punished for the offenses described in Count 1 of the Indictment.
