Having held an open trial in the case of Muzafer Čeligija, on 31 August 2023 the Court delivered and pronounced a Trial Judgment by which the accused Muzafer Čeligija, as the manager of the legal entity “MOTO TURS“ d.o.o. Sarajevo, is found guilty of the criminal offense of Tax Evasion or Fraud under Article 210(3) as read with Paragraph 1, of the CC BiH.

The Court sentenced the accused to one (1) year of imprisonment.

At the same time, the ill-gotten gain in the amount of 139,491.15 BAM (onehundredthirtyninethousandfourhundredninetyoneconvertiblemarks and fifteenpfenigs) shall be confiscated from the accused Muzafer Čeligija. The amount includes the 2,000.00 BAM (twothousandconvertiblemarks) which the accused has already paid towards the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The accused shall pay the remaining amount of 137,491.15 BAM towards the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina within 8 (eight) months of the day when the Judgment becomes final.

An appeal from the Judgment may be filed with the Appellate Division Panel of the Court within 15 (fifteen) days of the day when a written copy thereof was received.
