Suspect Admir Arnautović ordered in custody

In the case of Armin Arnautović et al., on 22 September 2022 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina granted the Motion filed by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 21 September 2022 and issued a decision ordering custody of the suspect Admir Arnautović, which under the Decision may last for a maximum of one month running from the day of arrest, which means until 20 October 2022 or pending a new decision of the Court.

Custody was ordered because of the existence of general as well as particular grounds of custody set forth in Article 132(1), Subparagraphs a) b) and c), of the CPC BiH, meaning a flight risk, concern that the suspect will destroy, hide, alter or forge evidence and traces important for the criminal proceedings, and interfere with the witnesses, accomplices and accessories, and because of the concern that he may repeat the criminal offense.

 

Admir Arnautović is suspected of the criminal offenses of Organized Crime under Article 250(3) CC BiH, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 CC BiH, Money Laundering under Article 209, Paragraphs 2 and 3, CC BiH, Violent Behavior under Article 362 CC FBiH and Inflicting Serious Bodily Injuries under Article 172 CC FBiH.
