Ruling on the BiH Prosecutor's Office appeal on 27 May 2022 in the case of Dragan Šojić, filed from Court of BiH Decision dated od 25 May 2022, on 28 May 2022 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a Decision granting the Prosecutor’s appeal, reversed the first-instance decision and granted the Prosecutor’s Motion to order custody of the suspect Dragan Šojić, which will last for a month running from the day of arrest.

Custody was ordered on particular custody grounds under Article 132(1), Subparagraphs a) and b), of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is a flight risk, concern that he may destroy, conceal, alter or forge the evidence and traces important for the criminal proceeding, interfere with the witnesses, accomplices and accessories.

Dragan Šojić is suspected of the criminal offense of Abuse of Office under Article 220(3) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH) and Embezzlement in Office under Article 221(3) CC BiH.
