On 15 April 2022, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina granted a motion by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina of 15 April 2022 in the case of Faruk Elezović et al. (S1 2 K 042635 22 Krn) and issued a Decision ordering the suspect Faruk Elezović into pre-trial custody. Under this decision, the pre-trial custody can last for a period not exceeding one month, running from the date of arrest, i.e. from 14 April 2022 until 14 May 2022 or a new decision of the Court. The pre-trial custody was ordered on the grounds of Article 132(1)(a) and (c) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely a risk of flight and a risk that he will repeat the criminal offense.

Faruk Elezović is suspected of committing the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 paragraph 2 as read with paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
