Suspect Miloš Popovac ordered in custody

Ruling on the Motion filed by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the case No. S1 2 K 042635 22 Krn 5 Faruk Elezović et al., the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued a Decision granting the Prosecutor’s Motion of 8 June 2022 and ordered the suspect Miloš Popovac in custody, which under the Decision may last for a maximum of one month, running from the day of arrest, meaning from 6 June 2022 to 6 July 2022, or pending a new decision of the Court. Custody was ordered on both general and particular custody grounds referred to in Article 132(1), Subparagraph b) and c), CPC BiH, which is concern that he will destroy, conceal, alter or forge the evidence and clues important for the criminal proceeding, interfere with the witnesses, accomplices or accessories, and on the grounds of special circumstances that warrant the concern that he may repeat the criminal offense.

Miloš Popovac is suspected of the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(2), as read with Subparagraph 1, of the CC BiH.
