On 8 August 2023 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a Decision granting the Prosecutor’s Motion, and ordered custody of the suspect Mirza Kapić, which under the decision may last for a maximum of one month, running from the day of arrest, which means until 4 September 2023, or pending a new decision of the Court.
Custody was ordered on grounded suspicion that the suspect has committed the criminal offense of Terrorism under Article 201(1) as read with Paragraph 5(i) CCBiH and on particular custody grounds referred to in Article 132(1)b) and c) CPC BiH, which is concern that he might destroy, conceal, alter or forge the evidence and traces important for the criminal proceeding, interfere with the witnesses, accomplices and accessories, repeat the criminal offense, complete the attempted offense or commit the offense he has been threatening to commit.
