On 12 July 2021, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent out an appeals judgment in the case of Radovan Paprica et al. dated 8 June 2021, dismissing as ill-founded the appeal filed by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the appeal filed by the attorney-in-fact for the injured party, while the appeals filed by defense counsel for the accused Radovan Paprica and Slavko Ognjenović are partly upheld, so the judgment delivered by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina No. S1 1 K 033539 19 Kri dated 3 December 2020 is reversed with regard to sentencing, so that, concerning the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)g), as read with Article 180(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which they were found guilty by the trial judgment, pursuant to Articles 39, 42(1) and (2), 48(1) and (2), and 49 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the accused Radovan Paprica and Slavko Ognjenović are now each sentenced to 7 (seven) years of imprisonment. In the remaining part the trial judgment remained unchanged.
