The Appellate Division Panel of the Court of BiH has sent out an Appeals Judgment in the case of Zoran Ilić et al. (S1 1 K 020064 24 Krž) which dismissed as ill-founded the appeals filed by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, defense counsel for the accused Zoran Ilić, and the injured party S.O., so the Trial Judgment of the Court of BiH, dated 3 June 2024, is upheld.

The Trial Judgment of the Court of BiH, dated 3 June 2024, found the accused Zoran Ilić guilty that by the acts described in the convicting part of the impugned Judgment he committed the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)i), as read with Article 29 and Article 180(1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), and sentenced him to 11 years of imprisonment. Conversely, pursuant to Article 284c) CPC BiH, the same Judgment acquitted the accused Radenko Ilić of some of the charges, for it was not proven that by the acts described in the acquitting part of the impugned Judgment he committed the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)h), as read with Article 29 and Article 180(1) CC BiH.

No appeal lies from the Appeals Judgment.
