On 25 September 2024 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed an Indictment in the case of Šerif Patković (S1 1 K 044275 24 Kro), charging the accused Šerif Patković that by the acts described in the Indictment he committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 144 CC  SFRY.

The accused is charged that during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the armed conflict between the Army of BiH and the HVO, in 1993, in the territory of Zenica Municipality, in the village of Dusina, in his capacity as Commander of the 2^nd Battalion, 7^th Muslim Brigade of the Army of BiH, he proceeded in violation of the rules of international humanitarian law, and the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, in the manner that on 26 January 1993, in the morning hours, after the Army of BiH took control of the village of Dusina, firing from firearms, at close range, he killed HVO Commander in Dusina, who had been lying on the ground, wounded.
