On 29 August 2023 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the consolidated Indictment filed by the BiH Prosecutor's Office on 22 August 2023, charging the accused Boško Peulić, Petar Đurić and Davor Peulić with the criminal offenses of War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 144 of the CC SFRY and War Crimes against Civilians under Article 142 CC SFRY.
According to the Indictment, between early May and late October 1992, in the territory of municipalities of Travnik and Skender Vakuf, currently Kneževo, during the war and armed conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina between the Army of the Serb Bosnia and Herzegovina, subsequently Republika Srpska (VRS), on the one side, and the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Croat Defense Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the other, Boško Peulić in his capacity as Commander of the 122nd Light Infantry Brigade (Ipbr) of the 1st Krajina Corps of the VRS, later on also Commander of the 22nd Ipbr of the 1st Krajina Corps of the VRS, Petar Đurić as Commander of a VRS military police unit, and Davor Peulić as VRS Communications Center Commander, accorded inhumane treatment to the civilians and prisoners of war in an improvised prison – basement premises in the PTT building in Skender Vakuf, in violation of the rules of international humanitarian law and in breach of the Geneva Convention relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War and the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, and Boško Peulić also in violation of Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions.
