The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed, on 6 November 2024, an indictment in the case No. S1 1 K 046714 24 Kro against the accused Boro Ivanović charged with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1) g) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), as read with Article 180(1) of the same Code.

The confirmed indictment charges the accused that, during the period between mid-April 1992 and July 1992, during the war in BiH and an armed conflict between the Army of Republika Srpska and the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in violation of the rules of international law, within a widespread and systematic attack of the Army of Republika Srpska on the civilian Muslim population of the territory of the Foča municipality, being aware of the attack and knowing that his acts formed a part of the attack, as a member of the Republika Srpska Army, with the intent to cause serious suffering and injury to bodily integrity of civilian persons, he repeatedly raped a Bosniak woman.
