On 12 January 2022 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office on 29 December 2021, charging the accused Branislav Lasica and Miroslav Milović with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 173(1), Subparagraphs a), b), c), e) and f), of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), all as read with Articles 29, 30, 31, 34, 176, Paragraphs 1 and 4, and Articles 180(1), 247, 248 and 249 of the CC BiH

According to the Indictment, during a period of between early May and late July 1992, in the territory of the Serb municipality of Goražde, part of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the accused Branislav Lasica, in his capacity as TO Podkamen Company Commander, and the accused Miroslav Mijović as Commander of the Regional Headquarters of the Municipal Staff of the Territorial Defense of the Serb Municipality of Goražde, in violation of the rules of international law during the war and armed conflict, planned, prepared, agreed, ordered, incited, committed, aided and abetted in planning, preparing and committing criminal offenses, and organized a group of people for the purpose of committing criminal offenses.
