The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has confirmed the Indictment in the case of Dragan Spasojević et al., charging the accused Dragan Spasojević, Vinko Radović and Dragomir Vasić with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1), Subparagraphs d) and e), as read with Article 31 and Article 180(1) of the Criminal Code of BiH, and the accused Petko Panić with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1), Subparagraphs k), e) and d), as read with Article 29 and Article 180(1), of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The accused are, inter alia, charged that between 30 May 1992 and 25 June 1992, during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and at the time of the armed conflict between the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) and the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Army of RBiH) in the territory of Zvornik municipality, and during a widespread and systematic attack launched by military, paramilitary and police forces of the so-called Serb Republic of BiH, subsequently of Republika Srpska, targeting the Muslim civilians of the Zvornik municipality, which lasted from 8 April 1992 to at least late August 1992, knowing of the armed conflict, as well as of the widespread and systematic attack, and that their actions form a part of the attack, they proceeded in violation of the rules of international humanitarian law. It is further said that the accused knowingly and willingly aided and abetted in the preparation and commission of forced resettlement of some four thousand Muslim civilians from the territory of Đulići, Klis and the surrounding villages, while some of the accused knowingly and willingly aided and abetted in the unlawful detention of some 600 Muslim male civilians from the same territory, during which they cursed and beat some of the separated civilians using their fists, legs and rifle butts, as well as other suitable instruments, demanding that they hand over their money, gold, valuable items and documents, while some unidentified Serb soldiers ultimately killed some of the Muslim civilians during separation.
