On 23 March 2023 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office on 10 March 2023, charging the accused Milan Matković with the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(3) CC BiH, as read with the criminal offenses of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195, Money Laundering under Article 209, Forging of a Document under Article 373, Preparing a Criminal Offense under Article 339 CC FBiH, and Murder under Article 166 CC FBiH.
According to the Indictment, between mid-2020 and late 2021, the accused Milan Matković organized a group for organized crime, set up for the purpose of committing criminal offenses proscribed by criminal laws in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of obtaining ill-gotten gain, which operated in the territory of BiH, Montenegro, Serbia and the EU, and in mutual collusion with other members made decisions on the group’s operations, on perpetration of criminal offenses, and distribution of ill-gotten gain, while members of the group acted upon his orders and instructions, where each of them had the awareness and knowledge of particular tasks, acts of commission and contribution of other members during the perpetration of criminal offenses, and in so doing took steps that in a decisive manner contributed to the operation of the group, all being fully aware that the acts were prohibited, yet willing their perpetration nonetheless.
