Indictment confirmed in the case of Milanko Obradović et al.

In the case of Milanko Obradović et al. on 9 January 2023 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office on 29 December 2022.

According to the Indictment, the accused are charged as follows:

  • Milanko Obradović, as an official person in the BiH institutions, received money so as not to perform an official act in the framework of his official duties which he was supposed to perform, whereby he is charged with the criminal offense of Accepting Reward or Other Forms of Benefit for Trading in Influence under Article 219(3) as read with Paragraph 2, of the CC BiH;
  • Miroslav Bovan, as an official person in the BiH institutions, failed to perform his official duties and thus enabled another person to obtain ill-gotten gain, whereby he is charged with the criminal offense of Abuse of Office or Official Authority under Article 220(1) CC BiH;
  • Nedžad Omerović, as an official person in the BiH institutions, failed to report a criminal offense carrying a sentence of five years of imprisonment or a heavier penalty, whereby he is charged with the criminal offense of Failure to Report a Criminal Offence or a Perpetrator under Article 230(2) as read with Paragraph 1 CC BiH;
  • Stevan Teletina gave money so that an official person in the BiH institutions does not perform an official act he was supposed to perform, whereby he is charged with the criminal offense of Giving Gifts and Other Forms of Benefit under Article 218(1) CC BiH.
