On 8 January 2025 the Court of BiH confirmed an Indictment in the case No. S1 2 K 050715 24 Ko, issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office, which charges the accused Osman Mehmedagić that with the acts described in the Indictment he committed the criminal offense of Abuse of Office or Official Authority under Article 220(3) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The accused is charged that between November 2019 and 27 February 2023, i.e. until he was relieved of his duties as the General Director of the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (OSA BIH), he performed those duties although he did not have the university-level degree that is required by law as a condition for performing the given duties, by which he abused his official post in order to enable himself to remain in office and thus keep his official and social influence, and obtained property gain in the form of salary for the office and duties for whose performance he did not fulfil the conditions required by the law.

In that regard, the Indictment charges him that by those unlawful actions he obtained property gain for himself in the amount of 293,046.58 BAM, which is the amount of which he deprived the BiH budget.
